Very good and pretty simple!

I made some last week, cooked for about 2.5 hours on the stove top and it was just right.

I added too much flour making it quite thick, just a few pinches seems to be enough. I added one can of beef broth and used creole seasoning.

Brown chunked meat & and onion in a skillet in some bacon grease or olive oil... then I will sprinkle it w/ some white flower (this will thicken the stew)... and cook until it's all browned.

Add the mixture to a crockpot (or large pot on stove).. chunk up some potatoes... carrots... celery... maybe another onion... add spices and a container of beef broth &/or some tomato juice to the top of the pot.

Cook all day in the crock pot.. or a couple hours on the stove. I don't like my vegies to be too soft.. But just like chili... it always tastes better the next day.
