a few years ago I quit having my loins sliced. I always struggled getting them cooked right. enough but not too much. I think everyone has there own favorite, bacon wrapped marinated or not in what ever your fav is recipe. Next time leave one whole or cut just in half. Wrap it as tight as you can w/the bacon throw on the grill and cook to 145F center temp. IMPORTANT let it rest for a few minutes. Slice between the bacon strips, it will look and be as juicy as the finest prime rib you have ever had at any high$ restraunt and will just melt in your mouth.
