Blackberry, Raspberry, Blueberry..... etc. > 3 cups flour > 1/2-3/4 cup sugar (depending on preferred sweetness) > 1 cup of berries > 2 eggs, lightly beaten > 1 cup milk > 1/4 cup melted/liquid shortening > Dash of salt > Good spoonful of baking powder >Mix dry ingredients and berries together. >Then blend in the lightly beaten eggs, melted/liquid shortening, and milk into previous concoction. >Stir concoction just enough to dampen/moisten all dry ingredients. >Cook on 375 in preheated oven, for 25 mins. My wife made a brown sugar, crushed pecan, butter "pour over" for them this time that was GREAT!! Actually I just kept dipping mine in it! :p Just call me Bo!
