Will probably get tickets for the wife and I to the Foundation Banquet except she is debating me on the second day of turkey season because she likes evening hunts.

She gave in! Told me to go ahead and get tickets. Then, she said that I shouldn't plan on bidding on anything during the auction. I told her that it wasn't worth going then, which she then said we'll just turkey hunt that evening then. Well played, by her.

Wished the NRA would have put this on a week earlier so it wouldn't have coincided with the turkey season....

But this may be once in a lifetime opportunity so I'm (hopefully) not going to miss this....

I plan on going Friday if I can get a vacation day...

I went to the St. Louis convention 2 years ago. It will take a patient man 3 days to see everything. I'll probably just sit by the Wall of Guns until I win. Shame that it's the first week-end of turkey season.

Went to the convention today and had an unbelievable awesome time.... Got there at 6:30 this morning and didn't leave till 7:30 this evening...

R. Lee Ermery at the Glock booth... 45 min wait but well worth it...

Melissa Bachman... A very pretty girl who has her own show... Don't know who she is but it didn't matter.... She has a show on Sportsman channel... Some guy asked me what everybody was standing in line for and I said "To see some hot chick!" He said "Fine with me!"....

Some pretty blond named Whitney who shoots Franchi shotguns at their booth

Some guy name Jerry who shoots for Hornady bullets who signed a hat for me...

I did see Governor Bobby Jindal, NRA-ILA Director Chris Cox, and Col. Oliver North but didn't talk to them....

And I filled two bags full of freebies....
Heck I even won a 2014 Silver Eagle and five grams of gold too.... Cha-Ching....

Only disappointment I saw was the NRA Store which IMO, was way overpriced on some stuff that I can order online cheaper.... I did buy a NRA Indy shirt which I thought was reasonable... I did tell them at the NRA booth that I hoped that they wouldn't wait another 30 plus years to return and they said that since Indy has a bigger convention center that they wanted to get Indy on a rotation which is great....

All in all it was a great time and I would encourage anyone who thought about going to do it cause you will have a great time.... My buddy and I as of right now are planning on going to the 2016 show in Louisville....

I was there. Hard to see all of it in one day!

So who all went?... Heard on NRA News that the total number of people attending was 75,627... 2nd largest convention ever.... Last year in Houston was 80 or 81,000 and St. Louis was 73,000 plus....

I'm a guessing the NRA will diffidently will be back in the future....

My coin guy told me today that they signed up potentially 10,000 new clients which is huge... A guy I work with won a Daniel Defense AR-15 on the Wall of Guns.... He bought one of the last tickets for that drawing... He said he will get it in about three weeks... It was the most expensive gun on the wall....

I went . Loved it.. did anybody notice the lack of shootings during the convention! That was the most safe place in america you could be!
