If anybody wants any work done let me know. I've just started to dabble in this but enjoy it. Will only charge the price of supplies as I'm still practicing. The price of the epoxy sculpt is fairly high. Send me a pic of work needed and I can give u a quote.

Only have pic on my phone of small job. Will try and get more up as complete.

Looks like you have the process down pat!
What are you using for coloring?

Could you take a rack of mine and add some extra points? I've always wanted a big old gnarly non-typical. jk

That's funny. I've actually had someone ask me to do that. I'm only restoring what they originally had the best I can.

Although my wife did say I don't have to spend so much time trophy hunting now and that I could just create what I wanted. I told her that wasn't happening.

HM-I use different coloring techniques for each job. Just depends on the racks natural coloration.

Bb-personally I love the sneak forms. Plus I can fit more on the wall than with upright or big sweeps. For some reason seems like a lot of guys don't like the sneaks though.

You folks repairing antlers could do scorers a favor if after you complete the chore you would use a majic marker and mark in the back of mount or plaque ....repaired.

Deer scoring only allows us to measure up to the break in an antler. Each year it seems we get repairs that the owner is trying to pass off as real.

Not trying to hijack a thread, would just like help in keeping folks honest.

That's interesting JB. Can't say I'm surprised though. Have you ever saw any that clearly cut/broke an abnormal point off to avoid the deduction?

I have had people bring me deer to score that had holes in the ear of the deer. Obviously from a game farm but the individual tried to pass them off as fair chase. They were asked to leave very swiftly. JB is right this can be a problem.
