Finally got around to digging him up, bugs did a great job except the end of the nose is gone. Been buried since last November. I buried it intact, ears and all.

Whats the best route to go for whitening? The creme developer?

I think it looks pretty cool as it is.

What is the reason that folks whiten their Euro mount skulls?

Tape it up well then either spray it w white killz or glossy clear. Done both and both look great!

Consistent luck is nothing more than hard work and preparation.

White paint works fine. Try a bit on the underside to see if you like the look.

I soak mine in a big tub of water with Hydrogen Peroxide in it. About one bottle to 2 gallons of water works and it only has to soak for about 5 minutes.

It depends on what look your after. If you want it white, use the 40 volume cream developer. If it is not as white as you want it the first time, just give it another coat. It works good, snow white.
