Took my son out this morning, he had a baseball game yesterday and we couldn't go. At 7:50 am this jake thought he was big time an put on a show for us. Spitting drumming strutting, actually tried to mount our hen decoy, knocked it off the stake. When that happened he finally came outa strut and my little guy laid the hammer down on him. 19 lbs longest beard of the 3 was 7.5 inches. I can't describe the feeling watching him shoot that bird!!

It's was a tweener. That pic makes its fan look full but it had the longer middle feathers and no spurs. Was with two other jakes I was amazed at the beard on it 7.5 in and it was curled if it were straight it woulda went 8.5 or 9 inches. He's still on cloud 9 today he made me print him out a picture so he could take it to school today.
