Ya almost all of these shows are a joke. I very seldom ever watch any hunting shows anymore.

I think those reality shows are more realistic than most hunting shows.

Good point about the safety. However I've brought up many times that a lot of the trophy pics on this site and others have muzzles pointed directly in the chest/face area of the successful hunter. Unchambered and empty or not that isn't how I was taught. Scary really.
