Also anyone who can remember doing the creek bank potatoes please show up. I have the recipe but only did them once so help is badly needed. I also will be working the drinks and the pheasant dishes.

Turnout was good, probably about the same as previous years. I believe all the groups that normally show up were there. As usual, thanks to numerous people from all the groups. The IDHA had a crew and served the deep fried deer meat under the watch and expertise of Mr. Bacon. As usual, folks (the public) were very polite and appreciative. Of course, it's band day at the fair and as you would expect, the place was very, very busy.

From the turkey kabobs to the deer nuggets and the smoked pheasant I was stuffed. Had a little carp, trout and salmon also. It's quite an operation out there.
