Yesterday we had our annual Pheasants Forever Sporting Clays Shoot at Indiana Gun Club. The event was sold out months ago and we had 120 eager shooters (and nearly that many volunteers) on a sparkling day on the range.
The event was highlighted by the addition of members Senator Mike Crider, DNR Director Cameron Clark, and NRC Chairman Bryan Poynter. So many friends and shooters I've seen from meetings all the state. Great time, great food, lots of prizes and I didn't embarass myself shooting this year. lots more fun than golf...

You especially would have enjoyed the 2 guys in front of us using hammer guns and black powder shells. Talk about a blast!!!!
I was closely monitored with that loaded gun. By the way the new DNR Director can really shoot although I'll bet his shoulder is hurting today using those 1250fps loads.
