Aint found a food I wont try....... but I'm not eating many root veggies including beets and turnips.
Customer of mine years ago tried to get me on a southern breakfast dish, fried pork brains, I said if they were in csrabbled egss and a side of hash browns. Didn't need to ask for the hot sauce it was brought with my breakfast.
Muskrat, coon, possum, if I trapped it I have eat it. One time my grandad caught me shooting a Starling, he said "you shot it now you eat it." I still remember the taste, his theory was if you kill it you can eat it. Never killed a Starling since............
When science meets tradition there will be sparks.....

I will eat just about anything except something's balls. I have friends who have tried to get me too eat pig nuts for years - I just have an issue with that.
Brains, sushi. mussles, exotic food, beetles, and snakes were not that bad once you get past our American phobia of such things.
I do detest possum - had that by mistake at a family reunion in WV. Never make that mistake again.

Tomatoes, can't stand them. Don't know what it is but i have never been able to eat one, instant gag reflex when I take a bite, I think its the texture of the inside of the tomatoe (their not done in the middle). BTW, I love salsa, and that rotel stuff thst comes in a can, just never could eat a raw tomatoe.

I'm funny about fruit........... I can eat ANY FRUIT (well almost), as long as it IS NOT/HAS NOT BEEN COOKED! No pies, cobblers, etc.
L-O-V-E oysters... any kinda way! Also like me some sushi.
Oh yeah, no black licorice here either.... YUCK!

Grilled pineapple is da bomb.... You should try it sometime... [/b]Oh Yeah!!! When I took HS students to Brazil we would eat at a Brazilian steakhouse that cooked everything on an open pit. Pineapple covered with cinnamon and sugar was the best. It was all you could eat and we wore it out.

Can't do liver. Wish I could. I always keep it and feed it to the dog.
Or radishes.
Aim small. Miss small.

I love sushi and octopus and crawfish, I've had pig tongue, I've had fried insects; I'll try just about anything I can stand the smell of, if the smell sickens me, like liver and onions, then it's a big no. I used to not like brussle sprouts, but as an adult I found a way to cook them with lots of butter (till it gets like buttery cooked cabage) and then add some crumpled fried bacon, good stuff.
