I recall John Stossel doing a report that illuminated the data that children were more likely to die by drowning in a family pool than by a gun. Statistics can be mind boggling and can be used in a way that could seem to support any debate, I enjoyed the video and he was to the point and factual. Sadly, a statician could "find" stats that could/would seem to refute the FBI stats. This is the tipping point, where a little bit of intelligence would over ride the emotional reflex and come to the conclusion that in America, guns are not the problem, it is the people who possess them (and use them in senseless crimes, or in any crime). Funny I was just looking at some new guns, ah the choices...
