Sorry to hear about your back and your short hunting season. Sounds like me in 2011. I will give you a call and we can catch up. Take care

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Daworz,
I feel your pain. I have the same problem with bulging disc and sciatic nerve pain. I do not wish that on anyone. My flared up so bad one time I was off work for a month and I had my sciatic nerve so wizzed off that I could not even take a shower. I layed on the floor and actually cried like a fat baby. I had 2 epidural spinal injections and some high potent muscle relaxers to get me out of it. I also do some routine hamstring stretches that I do when i tweak my back and they are a God send and keep me off the floor. Back pain has to be worse then childbirth. Hope you are out chasing turkeys this spring.

Dave, sorry to hear about the back problem. My wife had a herniated disc in her lower back last year that had trapped her sciatic nerve. She could barely walk as it sent shooting pain down her leg. Shots did nothing for it. Had surgery over in Kokomo and pain was gone immediately afterward. She's not had a problem since. Hope you get it all taken care of and are able to enjoy the outdoors comfortably.

I am sorry to hear about yalls back troubles. To say my experience my dad has had 4 back surgeries in his and has a deal with his neck right now and they will not operate cause they say it will more than likely paralyze him. My dad has always made sure I never missed out on our fun cause of his pain. He always made sure we were huntin or fishin and he has always went work everyday even now and never complains to much. That man lives in a pain every day that no one could ever imagine and still does what he does and that is really truly why he is my hero

Huntin is not a matter of life and death, its more important than that

I feel your pain. I broke my back in 3 spots. Had the shots no relief and ultimately surgery now I'm bolted together with titanium. Missed whole turkey fishing and most of deer this year. I hobbled out to get my son a deer. But it's the worst I'm looking forward to the bass and turkeys. I've been recovering for about 11 months but still have a lot of pain and down time. I will be out there this year and I hope you can get there as well. Good luck. Try to keep the blues away that is the toughest of all!
