Senate:
Passed SJR2 the right to hunt, fish and take game by 7-1.
Defeated SB226 which would give some authority to DNR over captive wild animal permits by 5-3.
House:
Passed HB1208 creating a new antlered license via a lottery by 12-0.
Heard testimony on HB1453 high fence deer preserves. Vote is next week. Done deal.
There's a reason I like dogs better'n people... .

Most of the above tells a story about our legislators. Nothing to be proud of. Amazing how legislators appear to know more then real wildlife professionals.

It will be interesting to see if the DNR decides to do it if it passes. It will certainly show the character of the leadership if they were to decide to do it, if not required to do it.
