Nothing else to report but that's pretty big news!

On a serious note.. the can just got kicked down the road on the forestry issue... I'm sure jack will chime in on this later.

It was kind of funny really. Representative Dvorak asked at the first summer study about the issue of logging in the backcountry area of Morgan-Monroe State Forest. He was told by the committee chair they would discuss forestry issues at the second meeting. Well, Dvorak showed up late to the meeting and when he asked the Chief Forester about the issue the chairman shut it down and said we aren't going to talk about this issue and moved on. 4 hour drive for nothing really.

Just a small jackpot at the casino Monday...

What Keith and I failed to mention was the fact we were sitting on uncomfortable chairs listening to people drone on about subjects we care little about when yesterday was opening of grouse and deer-bow seasons. We must be getting old. Shoot, we could have gone fishing and had a better time.

Opening day of bow season means nothing to me.. I'll hit it when its hot.. grouse? What grouse? ( timber issue).... and yes fishing would have been fun!.. I'll go again when we ( they) have the balls to talk about logging the back country.. growing tired of the can getting kicked down the road... again..
