Amazing! About the only thing close here would be catfish through the ice. Seen some big channels caught through the ice but nothing like that.

Speaking of channel cats...about 3 years ago I was ice fishing in a pond known to have some good 2-3 pound channels in it...fishing by myself and had 3 holes drilled. They started hittin right before dark and I couldn't keep up! I was holding 2 rods with a channel on each and hole #3 went too! I was standing on 2 handles while I reeled the first one in. Being the idiot I am, I tried to put all 3 poles back in and wound up diving all over the ice again. Ended up with 5 perfect eating size channels and threw about 5 back.

Wow that was way cool!
I might even ice fish for something like that! :p
