Well, there was all the hub-bub over the season changes and the added dates and weapons, and how many deer should one kill. Personally I wouldent kill more than 2-3 in any case, as my family wouldent eat more than that. Some years an extra 10 days is a welcome sight trying to get those 2-3. This year for example....Today is the last of it, and I havent had a shot at a deer yet. I seen 3-4 one morning a thousand yards away in a field, and 3 more one night, when it was much too dark to shoot at them, or even identify exactly what they were. I dont think it's a "deer" problem, I think as others suggested it's a "neighbors" problem. Point is this... I wouldent have "depleated" the herd this year, if I'd had 10 weeks, and 10,000 tags.

Frustrating Good News is,.....everybody went away after M.L.season, and the Buck sign is back, in the form of fresh shedding rubs....
