With the warm up coming (and I hope so), looks like this ice will be around for some good fishing weather the next few days!

I cleaned 19 nice gills last night and hitting a small pond in the morning with my 8 year old! He wants to skip his rec league basketball to fish! Now i love basketball but you teach a kid to fish and he has a skill for life! I sure hope they are biting!

hey id rather go fishing in the morning than wake up at 5:15 a.m. to go to a basketball game that I don't play in till 11:00

New pond and we got skunked! 15" of ice makes it hard for old dad to drill a bunch of holes to run and gun them! 3 degrees doesn't help either!

Bean, the steelhead are supposedly cranking in Michigan! Just talked to a guy who fishes the Pere and Muskegan.

I fished my pond again today and nothing. Talked about being depressed. 2 fish sandwiches for $5.00 at Arby's is the only way Im going to get to eat fish this year.
