This young deer has a distinct mane growing on the back of its neck. I've seen it a few times this winter but today I had the camera ready. Pretty Neat.

Ive killed two bucks within a hundred yards of each other and both had manes....pretty cool

I've got a few that I killed with manes.... really cool deer. they make a unique mount.

Cool. Looks like a little doe, maybe she will throw some bucks with that trait.
