What do you guys feed your hunting dogs? I've got a yellow lab and i've been feeding him Diamond chicken and rice for a couple years now. Here lately he's been eating a ton of grass. I'm taking him to the vet thursday, they said dogs do this when there stomach is upset. He acts just fine and shows no sign of being sick. With the dog food scare here lately it had me concerned. I just don't understand him and the grass. He's always ate it some but not like now.

My dogs get standard Purina Dog Chow. They both usually eat grass to some degree. Lately, they seem to really be liking this nice fresh green stuff that is coming up.

We used Eukanuba small breed puppy food for our daschund pup when we got her a year ago. Now we're using the Eukanuba large breed puppy food for our new lab pup. Very, very pleased with the Eukanuba stuff.

I have fed Purina Pro Plan to my labs for several years now. 2 of the puppies I have purchased had Purina Pro Plan Puppy listed as a stipulation for compliance on the guarentee of the pup. I just continued feeding the adult version as they matured. My dogs do very well on the Lamb and Rice formula.
