Thanks for the pictures. Sounds like you're going ok. The coon in the 220 looks like a very good one.

Nice catches. My first serious year also. Every time I go out I learn something new.

Just read your totals. You are doing great!

Based on what I have seen this year and last years averages, you will be VERY happy when you sell those muskrats.

Thanks guys yea I hope I will be happy but if not it is still fun for sure. And thanks again for some of your guys tips and helping out. I am still trying to get better at the skininng but it is coming as well. The eyes are still getting me half the time though I need to get them better.

I still give them a case of "bigeye" sometimes. It looks odd, but shouldn't be any kind of deduct on the price. Really pull the hide tight over the nose when you make those cuts. It seems to help.

Thanks yaz I have started to notice that but have yet to perfect it one eye is good and the other maybe not but I am getting better. I also feel like cutting perpendicular to the eye rather than down it works too.

you got it figured out.

Keeping tension on the hide helps also. I do it with my skinning machine but you can do the same thing by putting your other (non dominant hand) thumb into the ear hole and pulling down when doing around the eyes. I find this really helps me keep the eye holes small.
