I pulled all mine this morning.

Going to wait for the next warm up...snares sound like an excellent idea!

I'll pull most of my stuff Thursday or friday. I have 4 or 5 sets off the road in culverts, and bridges. With snow on the ground, it leaves too many tracks, and leads to missing traps! Coons have NOT been in the barns very much with the mild weather. I might move some live traps, or buckets in the barns if the weather gets tough for a while. The creeks are going to freeze up, and there are no tiles running to keep open water for mink either.

Yaz every coon we have caught except for 1 has been in or around barns. I have had 6 sets out for over a week on our creek (which will not freeze all the way) and only caught the 1 coon.

I must be doing something wrong on the creek because there are tracks all over.

Oh well, fun trying to figure them out.

I am pulling all my coon trap Thursday and keeping my snares working. Oh and I will be after my buck with the muzzy on Saturday.

That is funny bean. Dad nor I have caught very many in the barns. I can think of just 4 for me. The rest have been on the creeks, field tiles, or culverts.

Yes billy, the coyotes will dig around in a set under the snow. The problem is if there is too much snow, they won't get caught.

I'd probably hunt too Parker, except Dad's freezer is full of fur. We are going to use the "down time" to scrape and stretch some fur.
