I am running low on freezer space and was thinking of selling some fur early before shipping the rest to NAFA.

Anybody sell to Groenwold yet this year?

How were prices on green coon and coyote?

NAFA for us. But we are OUT of freezer space, and going to have to put some up real soon! Does anybody buy raw fur Chevy? Just curious.

groenwold does, no other local fur buyers around me

they buy finished, green, and on the carcass.

I plan to sell some in the morning...I will post up my results.

I am hoping for a $12 to 13 average on green coon.

I am getting 10-16 on the round. 8 for very small ones. Hopefully you will do well.

I just got off the phone with a friend in Lafayette and he said that Leo sold two freezers full of coons and yotes this week on the round and that the coons went on average around $13 each. When their freezers get full they call the guy and he comes and picks them up.

I did alright. Not thrilled and likely will ship the rest to NAFA.

I sold some green coon (total of 31) to Groenwold this morning. Average of $11.90.

They did the old trick of giving some pretty good prices...tops of 4 at $20 and 2 at $28 and paying low on some slightly smaller coon.

I had several small and wooly coon and some kits mixed in there too. Several were still partially blue and a few were off colors. I just brought them all, no cherry picking out the best.

Most were still pretty frozen and folded in half so I got dinged on that also. I am not really thrilled with these prices, just wanted to give it a try.

The rest of my fur will be going to NAFA.

Don't know. I'll be talking to the guys in Lafayette sometime next week and I'll ask them some more questions about it.
