Okay guys, I got the coyote method down. What do you use for coons, beavers, skunks, and minks? If you use a .22 where do you place the shot?

here is what I do.

coon, 22 short right between the eyes. If I am near houses, I carry a small aluminum T ball bat

skunks are tricky, 10cc of acetone injected into the lungs puts them down quickly

mink, just hit with a trowel. They are ferocious but not hard to kill

Beaver are best dispatched with a drowner rig or conibear trap

Back when I played around trapping just for fun mostly( WAS NEVER PLANNING ON MAKING A LIVING DOING IT) I always carried a small .22 in my pocket, but did not have it one morning when a buddy and myself was going to some rabbit hunting while I pulled a few traps in that area. He to this day says I invented a new chock. I had a nice sized coon hung up in a cubby set. Trap wired to a tree, and not a big enought size limb to dispatch this unhappy guy. NO rocks anywhere, so I did what any good sportsman would do and dispatch his game fast and humanly. I took the barrel off my 870 wingmaster and thumped him. Now my buddy says there is a IMP, MOD, FULL chock barrel and a coon chock barrel. All I can say is it worked LOL
