The day finally arrived and I finally snared my first coyote a big female. Went down hoping to set some beaver traps couldn't due to water levels so I set some snares and a few #2 hoping to catch some coons. Caught one coyote one coon and my left index finger. Those #2 coilsprings will bite ya I tell ya. Well worth the trip though nothing like that first of any outdoor adventure.

Cool beans... Nice job. Now you are hooked. There is not a trapper alive that has not got bitten by a trap. This year i have been bitten by a couple sleepy creek 1 3/4 and a duke #2. The worst was getting my wrist slammed into a 220 conibear. yep they work!!!!
