A number two duke foot trap is going to be your best bet unless you want to get into the whole snares. This is my first year trapping and I can tell you trapping coyotes is hard especially with the snow we have had. But there are others on here that will be able to help you better than I can.

They are also looking for people to film a trapline. They have been putting out a monthly video of trapping and were looking for footage. Be pretty cool if they tagged along and helped you while filming. Worth a shot.
