Special hunt for me this afternoon. I took my 15 dove limit with my 28 gauge O/U after getting two limits the last two hunts with a 12 gauge! I got sun burnt big time as my upper arms don't see much sun! In total 5 hunters took the 75 bird limit in a little over 2 hours! Dove hunting is quickly becoming one of my favorite hunts! 264 doves have been harvested over this patch so far...

This was our second DU donated hunt! This one was sold at the Purdue Ducks Unlimited event!



This is the three shooters that purchased the hunt and took their limits home with them even if it was 96 degrees!

You all did well. Very well, indeed!! Did you by chance use the large hay bales to your advantage? I can imagine I would use one to lean back against while sitting on a chair, stool, or bucket.

The bales are the "blinds". We mostly stand behind them and overlook the flowers!
