Anyone get out this morning in those horrid conditions? Me and two buddies did and boy was it worth it. By 930 this morning we had our limit of geese and had two mallards down to boot. As we are picking up over the course of 45 min we had another 140 or so birds in the field undisturbed for next time. Will post pics later

Have been wondering if the weather has brought down any ducks. I'm not much into the goose thing and the duck migration has been pretty weak.

Trad, I remember the days when I hunted the suburban area around Indi and stared the season with probably 75 decoys and by the end of the season was hunting over 6 decoys and still taking a limit basically every day we hunted. I used to stand in my backyard and shoot the fly overs. Franklin Township area.

Usually I only take bout 2 doz decoys but we had 3 guys snow and our first trip out since sept so we went all out. We had birds landing on us as we were picking up decoys. Wish we had an overcast day tomorrow but not looking that way

Heck Trad, they'll be there anyhow. We've got a nice flock of 24 we've been watching on public ground that for some reason no one is hunting. Probably, do a quick hunt on them on Xmas eve. evening.
