Didn't have much luck down south at Cedar Branch Farms this youth weekend turkey hunting. That's okay though...the best thing was that I got to hear some turkeys gobble again. Anyways, I got home up here and got the trail cam and got this turkey on it...not sure if it is a jake or tom or bearded hen...but here it is: [Linked Image]

I personally wouldn't but I know others would love to shoot a bearded hen. Its all up to your personal preference as long as its within the laws and ethical do what makes you happy.

I am hoping so...I am assuming, well at least up here, that the toms and jakes will start to be on the move by now...

Awesome day in Randolph! Saw two hens along one of our woods and then seen a jake run past the road a ways down from our house. Have been seeing many turkey tracks in the woods too; going out Saturday early morning
