traditionalarcher17 OP Hoosier Hunter T Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 1,607 Greenwood, Indiana	My dad and I took off after work tonight trying to tag out. We get down in time to find two toms in a field. Call to em bigger bird immediately gobble puffed up but they started feeding away from us. So we go down by river and try to cut em off. Well one doubled back and wouldn't ya know it busts us and tries to fly off my dad shoots and birds flies across river and dies. So being a good son I strip down to skivvies and swim across river to to retrieve the bird. Cold swim but hey bird recovered. Young 2 ur old bird but had 2 beards. On way home but ill post pic when I get home. Definitely an adventure!

Next year the waders will be packed in the turkey gear just in case. Too bad I couldn't suprise any canoers in the river. That woulda been priceless!
