Heading south for KY late ML and wondering if there's any pointers from those in the group that have hunted down there for deer before. We have a couple of fields to hunt near however mostly big hills/woods. We are not interested in hunting over bait. This is private land zone 2.

The largest bait pile wins. The deer are herding up, staying near food (the largest bait pile). It's frustrating at times but a fawn in heat could drag a buck by you. Unless it by the largest bait pile smile

We brought back three does and had a fantastic time. Stayed at a old deer camp cabin in the woods for 6 nights, wood stove heat, no running water, and ate like carnivore kings.
