EHD typically becomes an issue during periods of drought. A limited supply congregates the deer at a common water source.
Abundant water is a good thing.
There are none so blind as those who will not see.

A few years ago EHD was bad during a long summer drought. Found carcasses in or near creek beds and ponds. Hopefully the good side of all this rain is that it makes life easier on the deer. They don't seem stressed. Seeing many fawns.
