I think the decision will be.....yes.

And with that inclusion, I think the following will happen.....

Firearms kills will not rise significantly as (with prc inclusion) most hunters will simply be switching from one piece of equipment to another.

Archery hunting (due in large part to the addition of crossbows) will consistently account for a larger percentage of the total harvest (as has been the case in other states). That increase in archery kills (and after herd reduction goals have been met and are being maintained) will lead to the gun seasons being shortened and/or moved.

Finally....the late antler less season will be the DNR's way to add/subtract "gun days" without public input and all the drama that goes along with it.

I "hope" no, but if so, with restrictions on where....and Yes...the harvest will go up for the first several years, then the bottom will drop out. Some will run out to buy their new toys, it may take a few years for some to do so, some already have 'em in their safes....ML's/slug guns will be shelved, esp. if this is state wide. if it is limited areas, you wont see as much of a kill/herd number drop, it will take a tad longer(the herds been dropping as it is now)....every one has their "opinions"....

The poll is skewed from the start. It can easily be read as voters wanting it to pass when they may or may not by voting "yes".

Will it pass and do you want it to pass are two different things.

Will it pass? Unfortunately ... yes.

Do I want it to pass? HE11 NO!

the poll is not skewed just asking a different question than I think has been asked on here. We know how everyone feels about it already, 3 threads on this by last count...

I am a bit surprised so many think it's a done deal..I'm predicting this fails the first round or there is some kind of compromise, south of I70 etc...

I'm all for the hpr but I do believe it should be south of I-70.
