HS Strut Hoosier Hunter H Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 807 Martinsville Indiana	I'm anxious to see the results of the year when it opens on the 18th...that should clearly be late rut or at least past the peak...everybody seems to think we'd only kill 50,000 deer and hardly any bucks if we moved gun season out of the rut...I contend it would have little effect because there are nearly zero woods that wouldn't be packed full of hunters...Rut or no rut, bucks are going to get slammed with that many hunters in the woods
