If you are talking this late season, it would be pretty tough in most accessible areas of the Hoosier National. They have been pounded for 3 months and the deer are dead or hiding.
I'd guess just about all public areas are the same. Even most private areas are pretty tough this time of year.
All that said, there is still a chance. Find food and travel paths and go for it. Dress warm and keep the hunts short. Blinds are great for kids.
Now if you are talking next season, get 'em out for the youth hunt and your chances are much better. Scout with them in the squirrel season and find funnels, particularly saddles in ridges and you should be able to get a good spot.

HNF is going to be tough, I would look for the small FWA properties and try those. Find the food and think cover and hunt there. Unpicked soybeans or standing corn would be ideal if you can find them. Also check out the honey locust pods on the ground, deer love to eat those also.
