Using the logic of those who support the rifles for deer hunting rule, should it not be amended to include turkeys?

Doug, you assume this is about "logic"? (Sorry, couldn't resist) Remember, Twitter!

Heck, I could head shoot one easily at 100 yds, esp if they allow 22-250's ;0) ......

I think they do allow turkey hunting with rifle in WV...

I travel there often and was reading through their regs...

Yes they allow rifles and handguns:

"Firearms and bows legal for hunting wild turkey:

Wild turkey may be hunted with rifles, handguns, muzzleloaders, shotguns, or bows (see exception for Youth Spring Gobbler Season on page 35). "

I grew up there hunting deer and turkeys. I took a few Indiana friends back to hunt and we left early due to the rifle totters walking the ridges. I have never been back to hunt turkeys since. Being on edge the entire time was an understatement.

I'm not sure this fact would bring a lot of comfort to landowners in certain areas of near high density housing.

No. Lots of reasons. But I don't think this is a serious post. At least as a public land turkey hunter I hope it's not.

There are many states that let people hunt them with rifles. They use anything from 22 mag to 223.

Some people just don't like to hunt.
