Does anyone have any input about hunting here. Drove through There today and looks real nice. It is marked hunt by permitt only but couldn't find a check in station or sign in box. Does anyone have any advice. Thanks.

That is part of the Southeast Purdue Agriculture Center. Google that name, go to their site and you can apply for a permit. Not sure if you will get it in time to hunt. In the past I have received a temporary pass via email until the permanent one came via USPS.
Good luck!

Thanks huntmeister. Do you know if there is a good population of deer in there or is it over hunted as most public land is? I got my temp tag going to go drive and scope it out now.

I am not going to be much help on this part of it...I have scouted around that place a couple of times and saw some sign but not enough to make me want to drive the 2+ hours one way to try it. I understand from a guy who lives on the edge of SEPAC that there is a fair amount of deer there and like all public places seem to be, archery season is nice but firearms season gets busy on the weekends.
Good luck if you try it and let us know how you do.

Went Sunday and set all day saw one buck right at dark. We were the only vehicle parked in the place. It looks like it has potential but being public that throws a whole new variable in it. Guess we will find out.

Parrot head I squirrel hunt crosley but just figured deer season would be war zone in there. Not to mention its a lot of woods and I have never really explored there. I plan on putting the time in after season and learn all the public areas around me. I'm in Westport so have a few options.
