Big Oaks made the announcement for the Nov 8/9 hunt that a firearms (buck) tag is NOT valid - This I understand since the firearm season is not open. They also said a bonus antlerless (or bundle license) COULD be used during this hunt to take a doe. Not sure this is true??

Regulation is below - seems to me it would be same as the buck tag...you're using a firearm, and season is NOT in.

In my opinion, a military tag would be the only tag available for use. Thoughts??

Is a Bonus Antlerless License valid for all seasons? No. The Bonus Antlerless License is valid for the Archery, Firearms, Muzzleloader and Late Antlerless seasons only and it is valid only for antlerless deer (See Property Restrictions). The Bonus Antlerless License cannot be used to fulfill the Urban Deer Zone bag limit.

Bonus antlerless licenses can be used in any season, except the Urban Deer Zone Season, using the equipment that is legal for that season. Antlerless deer harvested with the deer license bundle can be used toward the bag limit for bonus antlerless deer in that county as well as the archery, muzzleloader, special antlerless-only bag limits. If used toward the bonus antlerless deer county quota, the county quota applies.
