I have hunted w/ a Therma Cell for bear and deer. Never had an issue.

Therma cells are pretty much standard hunting equipment in South Florida for hog hunting and hogs have one of the best sniffers an animal can have. Ive never had a hog bust me because of the therma cell and if they did bust me it was because the wind blew my scent to the hog. uncle bucky, simple experiment, place a therma cell away from you so the deer will smell it before they would you and see how they react. Im betting if anything they will walk over and check it out. h.h.
