Originally I was looking into taking my two sons on a guided hunt, but I've been reading about guided hunts and the low sucess rates due to overhunting and other factors. So now I'm thinking about leasing some land, but I don't know how or what to look for. Is there a way to find someone who would help me find a decent lease? I'm currently in the military so I won't have a lot of time to invest. We would probably only be able to hunt for about 1 week.

I'd appreciate any advice.

What part of the state you wanting to hunt?

I should have mentioned that. I have an old navy buddy who lives in the North East part of the state. Looking at a county map, I would say

Allen County
DeKalb County
Noble County
Steuben County
Kosciusko County
Lagrange County
Whitley County

I would start with knocking on some doors in the area you want to hunt. Might get on with permission or find someone open to leasing.
