Buddy and I drew an any antelope tag for unit 63. Think it's over 60% public land and 85% success rate for the unit. Never been out west and lost

Congrats on your draw. Good way to start is to buy or download some unit maps. I use TopRut website because their Google Earth overlay hunt-unit maps are free, and show all the land ownership and the roads. Plus you can fly the unit in Google Earth. The Wyoming section of Monster Mulies website, and several other western hunting websites, would be good places to search and learn of past hunter's experience in your unit. Good luck, and be careful....hunting out west can become an addiction!

Congrats on the tags! Looks like a good unit with > 20% private land. You couldn't have picked a better species to cut your western hunting teeth! Great advice above from sticksender. Best of luck!

Was not big at all my buddy actually paid for my tag if I'd go so I killed early so he could find a nice one and he did. BLM land and we both tagged out in 2.5 days
