I know I saw just one truly big buck while hunting this season
I shot a decent buck with my bow, just under 120, honestly fooled me, thought he was bigger. Wide and heavy, no tine length or beam length.
Saw a biggun that did get shot, had him at 47 yards and could not get the video camera on him in time. Guy said it measured 170's..

Bird in hand better than 2 in bush. I know, I know..... just made a pact I would not shoot anything not on video this season. It did happen quick, I could have just grabbed the bow and put an arrow through him. He was standing perfect, no wind and nothing in the way. He spotted the buck and doe decoy and did not like them. I had him last year, same day react the same way. he was in the mid 140's last year. November 9th
