well had a great year.. first buck from my deer reduction on 11/9 at just before 8 am.. had deer running from dark till I got out at 1030 am...

then less then 24 hours later and about 10 miles away at another property this dude came busting in from behind me to the ol' can call/buck chasing grunts and Harmon Triple Heat ( he came downwind the whole way) he totally surprised me from where he came.. never saw him before, but the other guy hunting there with me saw him a week before. Crazy rack, 9 point, HUGE side and small side. like the small side is deflated. He was no sloch field dressing out at 185 lbs.

Couple great deer right there! Congrats man!

thanks.. was truly blessed.. got great video footage of the first, however because of the rain and where the second buck came from I screwed up the video of it.. I still would swear the camera was running when I shot the second deer.. which really sucked because when he ran off through the cut field he was blowing blood and plowing snow for a hundred yards.

That's for sure a trophy of a lifetime. I'd love to go on a park hunt and see something like that in bow range. What hunts are the best to apply for as far as location. I've hunted shades state park and big oaks. No luck but I've seen really nice deer on the way in. I'd bow hunt all season if weather would permit. Congrats on your harvest and what a story to tell.
