On the other thread about hunting in the wind, I mentioned about posting some video. I got a new digital camera to carry on hunts, which also takes HD Video, so I've been trying that feature. These two immature bucks display some territorial behavior. The buck on the right came in last night, directly downwind of my tree overlooking a bean field. But he was so fixated on the other buck and doe, that he hardly even flinched as he crossed right though my scent stream. Notice how the buck on the left keeps his head turned to the side to "show off" his antlers. For best viewing, blow the video up to full screen. https://vimeo.com/110486412 .

Sticksender, Nice video. what cam did you get? I too got a new HD cam, Panasonic HDC-SX5 Hybrid and plan on videoing hunts and trapping. Mine will shoot SDHC cards or DVD dics, pretty cool. h.h.

I'm seeing dramatically better image quality compared to my old Olympus point & shoot. But already am wanting to get a bigger zoom lens for it It has a 5-axis image stabilizer, which works nicely. That video is all hand-held, and even in the wind and low light and full zoom, is still pretty stable. .
