Took some time to burn in a new barrel that I added to a 10/22 build I did several years to go. Its a 18" fluted aluminum sleeved from the Whistle Pig barrel co. This is the first sleeved barrel Ive used. After 50 rnds I was well please with the way it shot the first time out. A good cleaning and it will be ready for round 2 of seasoning this barrel. Target range 50 yrds, ammo CCI Mini Mags

After the barrel break in I headed to the pistol range to try out some round that I loaded up over the winter. This was the first time I reloaded pistol ammo. I was well please with the rounds, no duds,stovepiping or jams

And Bo I hope you ate your carrots, that 300 yrd range is
a long way to shoot, LOL

Had a great time on the range yesterday, and finally got my
22-250 dialed into zero at 200yds. So bring on da dogs!
Also know exactly how to hold all the way out to 300 Meters (per range sign)
Where our targets ended up. And I can tell ya... that's one
looooong shot! :p It was also quite refreshing, slingin'
some lead again.

It was a great time, but it sure would of been a whole lot better to see those tiny little holes way down at the end of the range if someone hadn't forgot the spotting scope..... Sorry Bo :rolleyes:

Justin.. This is one of the ranges at Martinsville conservation club, its a private club, they open up membership at the beginning of the year to fill any open spots that might vacant.

BTW G, I do want to get on the waiting list!

76, it is a full 300 Meter range that we were using.

I plan to join the linden CC this year for access to their ranges.
