In this vintage image of a deer hunt in New Hampshire. How much would that deer 4th from the right weigh? Do they get that big today in Indiana?

My guess based on the fawn next to him...

He might be pushing 200# but probably closer to 175#. Yes IN deer get that big.

Neat pic though. Thanks for posting it.

@JS, I'm glad you liked my old image. Sir I bagged this deer in November of 2011 in Harrison County. Mr. Buck is hanging from a scale and field dressed was 162lbs. It seems to me that the deer in this image would weigh a lot more than even 200lbs. (this was my first deer to bag)

I wouldn't doubt one bit if that buck was pushing 250lbs... Its gotta be at least 225lbs...

Funny how many deer were killed back then not wearing any camo or using any scentloc suits or dead down wind. QWe spend so much money on clothes and other gadgets and gear. Heck back then they wore plaid shirts and jeans and probably shot more deer than we do.

They did a lot of pushing also to get em moving. If ya read a lot of the hunts back then were just big deer drives.
