Looking for a little clarification on Urban Zone. Does urban zone go out at all? Does urban zone legal weapon correspond with other season legal weapons?

The answer to your first question is:
Urban Deer Zone = Sept. 15th - Jan. 31st

The answer to your second question:
Urban Deer Zone is Archery only according to this page of the rules and regulations...

So if your area qualifies for urban zone, can you hunt that area during the corresponding season (shotgun, muzzleloader) using those weapons or is urban zone strictly areas for bow only?

also... this is my beef with a reg on the urban hunting zone, you must wear hunter orange when required. although where i hunt you can't legally fire a firearm you must wear orange to draw attention to all the lovely neighbors that will blow a gasket knowing that you are hunting there, while drawing attention to other hunters of your spot they should try to take.

Urban zone is strictly archery only however, some urban zones may not have firearms restrictions placed on them so you could hunt with a firearm but you could not use a urban zone tag to do so, you would have to use a firearms / ML tag in that instance.

Exactly ..... You can gun hunt a urban area where allowed but not with a urban lic.!!!!!

The earn a buck only falls under the urban lic.

All my areas are urban zone and I gun hunt them all. If guns weren't allowed in the urban zones Prophetstown state park woudln't have a gun hunt.

Guns may be allowed in some urban deer management areas but if you read the regulations, you notice that ONLY archery equipment is listed as eligible to be used for the Urban Deer Zone Licenses

like said BOW ONLY if you want to tag it URBAN..

You can hunt your Urban area and use regular season tags but you have to tag them with regular tags and stay within Regular season limits.

Lot of confusion about the issue, if you want to tag it URBAN it has to be taken with BOW
