The Swamps of South Ga!
I'm listing this for a friend at work...

This is a 28" Mossberg 835 12ga "ULTI-MAG" Vent Rib Barrel with 3 different "ACCU-MAG" screw in chokes.

Chambered for: 2-3/4", 3", & 3-1/2" Shotshells

Barrel & Chokes are NEW, almost brand new!
He doesn't ever remember firing the gun with that barrel installed.... and I do not see evidence of any shots thru the barrel or any of the chokes. As a matter of fact, the choke that I removed for the pic still has the original grease on the threads!!

He bought the gun as a combo with a rifled slug barrel, and that's all he used it for. Then sold the gun years ago with only the slug barrel attached...

Asking $150 for the Barrel, the 3 Chokes, and an old spare cap that he's throwing in too.

Thanks for looking

I sure don't bud!
I know someone that does tho, every year.... but I sure don't recommend it!

I bought a rifled barrel for my camo'd 835 when I got mine 20 yrs ago. Though I use nothing but a muzzle loader these days! smile

I read that the Mossberg barrels are backbored which makes them slightly oversized, I believe. The slug will shoot out of the barrel but accuracy suffers due to the backbored barrel not fitting the slug tightly.

According to Mossberg, the 835 barrels are "back bored" to 10 gauge. It supposedly helps shot to pattern better (especially steel shot) but doesn't allow slugs to "seal" the bore and accuracy will be lacking.
