Saw 7 today.... 1 spike and a doe that I tried closing th gap on to make a shot but she bailed.... The four I saw together were way off but the last one looked like a really decent buck... Hope I have better luck tomorrow...

For all those hunting tomorrow... Atterbury now has an antler point restriction in place... Must have 4 points on one side to be legal... Did see a 7 point so I bet that guy breathed a sigh of relief...lol

If you kill one with less then 4 points please do not leave it... They will forgive you...

I'm goingin the morning. My buddy that was going w my got the flu. I have never even been there, not sure where the gate is, and not sure where to hunt. Any advice would be great.

The check in use to be on hospital rd. Find a funnel or escape route or thick cover and stay put

They started it last year... I wasn't drawn for last year and didn't know about it till yesterday... I don't think they are going to hardcore enforce it... Seems to me they are going by the honor system to get hunters to let small ones walk...

It has to have at least 4 points one side to be legal... So basically, 6 pointers or smaller are a no go...

I called and asked about the antler restrictions earlier in the year and the lady said they wouldn't tell you until the briefing. I figured it was going to happen again.

I have never had a Chance to Hunt there, I have put in for it 7 times, I do the Hunter ID #,bow hunter Class, ID. What am I doing wrong.

daworz.. I know guys that have put in for this hunt as their first choice for 10 years with hunter Ed and all but have never been drawn .. Keep trying your chance will come and with the antler restriction in place now it will only get better as far as antlers go.

Yeah Daworz keep trying... I have gotten drawn 3 times now out of 6 or 7 tries...

Are you going by yourself or bringing someone? If you bring someone have them put their name in too so you basically have 2 entries and better your odds of getting picked...

Ironically this year I got picked for Saturday and my buddy got picked for Sunday so we got to go both days... Never happened to us before...
