I'll be at the draw hunt on the military side this Sunday. Does anyone have a map of the military side? It seems to me I used to have one with zone designations and areas allowed from years ago but I can't find it. Thanks for any help.

I am supposed to hunt Atterbury also on Sunday. It was my second choice. I tried for Crane. I have hunted there in the past as Im in the military. Alot of deer in there, but this is the 3rd day of a 3 day hunt. Can someone send me a map. I have a hard copy, but its in my gear at the armory. Does anyone know how many hunters will be in there on Sunday???

Is it time for deer season yet?

For all those hunting tomorrow... Atterbury now has an antler point restriction in place... Must have 4 points on one side to be legal... Did see a 7 point so I bet that guy breathed a sigh of relief...lol

If you kill one with less then 4 points please do not leave it... They will forgive you...

Has any one noticed a difference in the number of antlered deer since the antler restriction has been in place. I know it was in place last year so this is the second year for it at least . In a couple more years there should be tons of nice deer in there . It was already my favorite place to hunt before the
Restriction

All the bucks I saw Saturday and Sunday were dinks... It will take a few years for APR to make any type of difference... And even then unless hunters let 7 and 8 pointers walk (which most won't) then APR is for the most part going to be pointless...

If they really want to truly grow larger bucks then they are going to have to make it a doe only hunt for minimum three years... IMO, that will do a better job then APR ever will...
